Good condition - used with small signs of aging & blemishes

Gorgeous silver spout sieve with original silver split pin.
The split pin was placed in the spout of the teapot so that the tea was sieved during the pouring.

Both the sieve and the split pin are hallmarked with the Dutch sword. The sieve also has a master sign: P:O from P. Overstegen, worked in Amsterdam from 1824 to 1830.
