Portrait of a young woman in white bathing suit seated on a white surface in a dive-like pose in front of a white background.

Model: Fariëlda.

Split Grade (double exposure of paper) print on Ilford Multigrade IV Glossy paper.

'Homo Anonymous' is a project by artist Paul van Bueren in which Van Bueren researches the value of anonymity in our current society. Is anonymity a luxury? Van Bueren is asking himself time and again 'when, where and how are you anonymous?' He is not looking to give answers, but through repetition, he wants to deepen the questions.

This portrait is a ‘single shot' made on Fomapan 400 4x5" film with my Sinar P2 technical camera.

All the prints from this project are handmade in my self-built darkroom, the entire process is completely analogue and consists of the use of paper, light and chemistry. Dust from the negative can be visible in the photo.

The photo will be shipped in wax paper and well packed in a plastic sleeve in a sturdy cardboard box.
