Volume 2: With 265 images, prints, maps and drawings,
and 3 colour plates.
This work was published under the supervision of H. Colijn and some
experts. With a preface of J.B. van Heutsz, former Governor
of the Dutch East Indies.
Condition: Bindings with some wear (first volume with spot on back cover), names cut out from both endpapers, small tear at the bottom spine and back cover of both volumes. Otherwise excellent, complete with the folding map in volume I.
Beautiful set, especially because of the beautiful bindings after a design by Chris Lebeau.
