Bernard Aubertin - Bruciatura su carta

Description
Bernard Aubertin - Bruciatura su carta
Mixed media - Hand signed - SINGLE - 1990

Bernard Aubertin was born in Fontenay-aux-Roses in 1934. After his studies as a self-taught artist at the State School of Decoration, he approached cubism and futurism. His meeting with Yves Klein in 1957 was fundamental. In fact, from the following year, he started to create his well-known monochrome canvasses. Aubertin started his story of monochrome painter making his first “rouge total” works. At first, the artist’s research focused on red, rich like fire, energy. He made the so-called “Tableaux Feu” (fire pictures), giving life to red monochrome canvasses with nails (“Tableaux Clous”), iron wire (“Tableaux Fil de Fer”), matches (“Parcours d’Allumettes”) and different materials, from candles to iron nets.
