Hand painted advertising sign for a hairdresser. The painter has not signed this board. The painter is unknown to me.
The sign comes from Togo, West Africa.
This small hairdressers sign with 16 female heads was painted with industrial paint on a board of triplex.
Made around 1990. This sign measures 35 x 53 x 0.4 cm (W x H x D).
It is an original, little used hairdressers sign and is in excellent condition. The board is clean, stable and free of woodworm. No restorations. I bought this sign in 2007 from a Belgian trader (see label).
