Wire model of a car, type "Morgan" or "MG". Entirely hand-crafted from aluminum wire, thin copper wire and rubber from reuse. The maker has remained unknown. He worked in what was then Zaïre (now DRC) where he made tin and wire models of cars, airplanes, motorcycles etc. that were sold as children's toys. This very large and complicated model was certainly not a toy. It is a SHOW model to attract customers and clients. I bought it from the maker in Kinshasa, 1983 (Time of Moboutou).
Movable parts are: wheels, bonnet, fan, steering wheel, doors, seats, tailgate with spare wheel.
The model is in good condition, but the rubber of the wheels is partially digested and may have to be replaced.
Pickup in Amstelveen is preferred or shipment as package (registered shipment) with PostNL is also possible.
