Hello, I sell this superb old decorative clock made of ormolu with gold sheet
Louis XV style
Period: second half of the 19th century (about 1850)
it is really beautiful and well crafted
we can see a very visible rooster shape on the first side (top of the clock), while in the other direction we can easily see a fish shape or a face? I think the author of this clock intentionally created these motifs to transport our imagination into his world, mixing artistically
The mechanism can be fixed on either side of the pendulum
It works very well (but I don't have the keys to reassemble it)
Slight lack of gold on the edges
Enamelled dial, decorated with flowers, in very good condition
Crystal in very good condition
Bronze case in very good condition
Mechanism in very good condition, works very well, it is numbered 337
We can see numbers and a signature on the back cover (see the pictures): LAYE?
