A particularly beautiful and large bronze sculpture made by the famous French artist Adrien Etienne Gaudez (1845-1902).
Adrien Étienne Gaudez was a French sculptor who worked in the 19th century. He produced several monumental figures cast in bronze.
The sculpture is signed in the bronze and on the pedestal with a plaque with the title of the work as well as 'Hors-concours'.
The sculpture was silver-plated; there are still remnants of the silvering present.
It is placed on a silver-plated base, which in turn is placed on a marble base.
Can be electrified, due to old age this function is no longer present.
