Beautiful large tooth of the extinct large tooth shark; Carcharocles megalodon. This tooth is 12.8 cm long and 9.8 cm wide with a weight of 250 grams. The tooth comes from the upper jaw. It was surfaced by a friend who is a diver, in the Atlantic Ocean at the height of South Carolina. The tooth comes from the Miocene and is between 15 and 20 million years old.
