Richly sculpted okimono in ivory depicting scenes of samurai and women around a tree, with a total of eight characters, six of which are men and two women, made from a single block of ivory and fixed to a wooden base

Superb quality carving, very fine finish technique, with extremely detailed characters, clothing, and expressions

Size (including base): 8.5 x 6.3 x 7.3 cm

In perfect condition

This antique ivory item dates from the 19th century, and is therefore permitted under CITES regulations.
