I have to offer today a very rare piece of TRIFARI,pat.nr 119435 from a line of Pearl Belly from 1940,designed by Alfred Philippe.Who else would be able to design so beautiful piece of costume jewelry....A swallow is 6cm long between opened wings and 5,5cm long.It has a huge allongated baroque pearl in yellowgold colour, hard to name properly,2,7cm long. The feathers of wings and tail are clear diamente ,now bit yellow, setted in silver plated metal. All stones are original! There are 2 or 3 setted deeper, pls.kindly look at pics- next year this piece will be 80 years old!A tiny red cabochon crystal is setted as an eye.The mark Trifari Crown has an allongated T/ mark used from december 1937/,there are 2 pics of the signature.A clasp works correctly. The overall condition is very good for it's age with signs of use and wear.Reasonable reserve price for such rare piece.A sale is final.
The design is published at the page 172 in "Collecting vintage jewelry"written by Julia C.Carroll.A buyer will receive copy of the book's page.
Will be shipped insured and with a tracking number.
