Particularly beautiful and rare glove box, origin probably France.
Upholstered with velvet.
On the top is a stylised water lily, and two dragonflies, framed by plant motifs in the famous "lash" style of Art Nouveau.
At the front wavy water patterns and two leaves,
On the back the same motif without the plants.
The pattern continues to the sides.
The lining inside is silk.
On the lid is a holder with a silver-coloured pen, to use for the fingers of the glove.
The good clasp is of tooled silver-coloured metal in Art Nouveau motif.
In the box an original pair of suede black gloves, which can be fastened with a mother-of-pearl button. (1 button is missing a little of the mother-of-pearl.)
The glove box is entirely intact.
Will be shipped in protective packaging.
