Beautiful SS service dagger mid production period with exclamation mark "!". Klittermann & Moog was definitely the only manufacturer that, unlike all other manufacturers, executed the SS-Devise "Meine Ehre heißt Treue!" with exclamation mark-"!" and the RZM code in the fracture font on the blade. Such daggers are extremely rare! The hardwood handle is with the eagle made of nickel silver and SS emblem, everything is precise and firm. Heavy paired crossguard made of nickel silver with noble patina, inside both have marking "St.__St". The blade with two forging marks, is clean and bare, with few normal typical scratch marks of the silk feathers, the cross-graining is still preserved. The front of the blade with SS motto: Meine Ehre heißt Treue "!", the back with the RZM code: RZM M7/29, year 1939 and company logo: Klittermann & Moog GmbH, Haan b / Solingen, all deep and clean etched. Winding is intact. The black-painted iron scabbard and also in good condition. The two silver-plated sheath fittings were partially started and covered with patina. The dagger sits tightly in the sheath. See photos for details.
