Peppermint box - .833 silver - mogelijk Wed. A.G. Kooiman - Schoonhoven - 1841
Good condition - used with small signs of aging & blemishes - 27 g

The antique silver peppermint box is of the square type with a hinged lid (full length hinge). The lid is finished with a guilloche technique with a star design as centrepiece, the bottom has a ribbed guilloche technique. The top and bottom have a profile edge and the edge of the lid has a ribbed pattern.

Silver hallmarks:
Walking lion (2nd grade silver, 833/1000) - Minerva head M Schoonhoven - year letter G 1841 - maker's mark silversmith possibly K1 (Wed. A.G. Kooiman. Schoonhoven. 1840-1860).

Dimensions:
Length 4.5 cm - width 4.5 cm - height 1.5 cm and a weight of 27 grams.

Condition:
in good condition with normal signs of wear / old age - see photos (these are part of the description and condition).
