Sheffield - Centrepiece, Tray (1) - Edwardian - Silverplate

Gorgeous Edwardian silver plated large gallery serving tray raised on 4 shallow bun feet and hand-chased with an ornate floral and scroll design. The border is decorated with a pierced arching pattern and gadrooned around the edge. The tray has two C-shaped handles decorated with cast shells.

55.5 cm from handle to handle
46.5 cm long
35.5 cm wide

Very good antique condition. Some wear to silvering, mostly on reverse. Several small dark mars in the centre and few large dark marks in the groove between the body of the tray and the border.
