Portrait of Ignatius of Loyola 1491 - 1556 was the most important co-founder and creator of the later also called Jesuit Order, “Society of Jesus”. The painting is very minimalist in the sense of the Jesuit Order, an elite school of the Christian faith. Ignatius of Loyola was canonised in 1622. On the back in the middle of the frame a seal with insignia of the Jesuit Order or a monastery.
