Gebrüder Köberlin Dresden - strainer - .800 silver

Description
Gebrüder Köberlin Dresden - strainer - .800 silver
Germany - Second half 20th century

Here we have a beautiful tea strainer with drip bowl from the Köberlin Brothers, Dresden in mint condition. The Köberlin company manufactured silver goods up until 1962, after which only silver-plated. In 1972, the business was nationalised in the final wave of wave of expropriations, and was then known as VEB Besteckfabrik Döbeln. After the stately silver came the proletarian aluminium.
