Description: a finely hand-carved wooden sculpture from the 18th century. The ancient Greeks and Romans used to swaddle their babies, this procedure is confirmed by numerous biblical references. The body of Jesus in this case, is represented without limbs, as if it was swaddled and it is not coated. Due to its age, the item requires restoration.
