Schwarzwalder Bell Male - Cast iron - mid 20th century

Description
Schwarzwalder Bell Male - Cast iron - mid 20th century
Mechanical - 1 day movement - Not striking

This well-functioning clock man has a new key, new hands and a new pendulum.

The real clock men date from the late nineteenth century. When these types of clocks disappeared, a factory (JVE) in the Black Forest made clock men in memory. These were cast statuettes with one–day movements on their chest. There are five different types. This is the type with the low hat and short weights. The movement has just been cleaned and checked for proper functioning.

The clock will be well-packaged and shipped registered with PostNL. If desired, the seller can, upon request, send a link that clearly shows the operation.
