Unique candlestick commissioned by my grandparents for a chapel and that I had restored given its simplicity and beauty, I first used it as a floor lamp and then brought it back to its original condition.
Very simple, with round base in gun metal zinc. From the base starts a brass tube and, to avoid the monotony of a single tube, my grandfather had three other intertwined zinc tubes, 30 cm tall, inserted in the middle part to give the candlestick some movement. The tube then ends with a candle cup, also in brass, and with central part in the same colour as the base. It has also been painted to give it some colour. If you were to put a lampshade on it or use it with a candle you need to widen the base or replace it with one that holds a candle or lock it from the base by making a hole under the candle. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, it can be left in its current condition or with electric wiring that given its height can serve multiple lightbulbs. I had it restored and brought back to its original condition. I love original items and I have them fixed when they are very beautiful to use and normal cleaning is not enough to bring them back to their ancient splendours. Now that it has been restored it will remain in this condition for years.
