Okimono - Ivory - Byakue Kannon 白衣観音 (White-robed Kannon) with karako - Signed 'Gyokumin' 玉民 - Japan - Meiji period (1868-1912)
n excellent small okimono, standing circa 7½cm tall and weighing 28g, finely carved as bijin and child bearing a flower. Marked to the underside with two character artist's signature. This lot comes with a certificate issued by a certified appraiser confirming the age of the object.
Condition: Generally very good, unfortunately i lost the top of the flower bouquet that the lady was holding (see photo on certificate).
Ivory, therefore NO SALE OUTSIDE EU.
This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
