Baccarat - 6 glasses goblets Port Talleyrand model - Art Deco

Description
Baccarat - 6 glasses goblets Port Talleyrand model - Art Deco
France - 1950-1974 - Crystal

Beautiful set of 6 wine or porto glasses in Baccarat crystal, Talleyrand model.

Model in cut crystal from the 1930s, Talleyrand is a beautiful and sober model derived from the famous Harcourt model, the jewel of crystal glass-making: 6 wide facets on thick crystal, but the glass is lower (thus less prone to breaking) and its base is circular and topped with a sphere. The Talleyrand model is listed in the 1933 Baccarat 'Arts de la Table' catalogue. As production continued after 1936 and until the end of the 20th century, some specimens bear the Baccarat signature while others do not. In fact, 1936 is the year in which the crystal factory began to replace the label, that was removed after a few washes, with the acid-etched stamp.

The glasses that we are selling are signed. They bear the stamp of the Baccarat brand under the base.
