A good example of a, late 1700s / early 1800s, box lock flint, pocket size, pistol. The lever on the left side individually selects one of the two barrels, to fire, and a sliding safety is mounted behind the hammer. All iron parts are sparsely engraved. One side of the frame is marked Deake, and the other is marked LONDON. 1800 The frame is proof marked on the bottom of the frame. The walnut grip shows some burl pattern on the left side.
