2nd half 20th century - Fair condition, used with visible signs of wear

Authentic majic statue, named "Nkishi", made by a woodcarver in the town of Lubao (Sentery). This kind of fetish figures were kept in the family hut for protection.
Part of a private family collection (3 generations) of African artefacts gathered during more than 60 years. Bought in Bukavu, 1984, through a middleman living in Kabambare.
