Unique Art Deco burl wood Jacquemin writing desk from France from the 1920s. This piece of furniture can placed freely anywhere in the room. Wonderful design with two hinged doors and a drawer in the centre. The right cupboard space is equipped with four drawers. The top drawer is lockable and has a secret compartment. The writing desk was lovingly restored by hand. A bookcase, which is still unrestored and matches this writing desk, is available as well. The burl wood veneer has a distinctive grain and a wonderful deep brown colour shade. An exquisite circumferential black piano varnish strip accentuates the tabletop edge of this piece.
