Ben Oude Breuil (1949-) - Stilleven met appels en walnoten in een glas
Oil on panel - Hand signed - 21e eeuw

The active painting career of Ben Oude Breuil didn’t start until he was 30. Until then, Oude Breuil sketched and etched. He received the Talens award for the East Netherlands in 1996, followed by an exhibition in Utrecht. The first solo exhibition was in 1999 in museum huize keizer where large canvases were exhibited. This exhibition "een andere kijk op Twente" could be admired in a number of cities. After a heart attack in 2003, the artist started making smaller works, resulting in an invitation to exhibit at Galerie Lijn 3 from Anthonia van Rappard. In the meantime, private art lovers from Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Romania, United Kingdom and of course the Netherlands have purchased work from O'Breuil. Work has also been shown on the site of famous Almelans. The larger work of Oude Breuil can be seen in the Oranje Museum in Diepenheim among other places. This is a wonderful work for collectors.
