Contessamat is a series of 35 mm viewfinder / rangefinder cameras produced by Zeiss Ikon AG, Stuttgart (formerly West Germany) between 1963-67.
The name that was given to a series of cameras produced by Zeiss Ikon in Stuttgart between 1950-1955, and to compact rangefinder cameras, produced between 1960-1971, was 'Contessa'. These were medium-high quality cameras. The non-folding cameras were Contessa, Contessamatic and Contessamat.

Exposure setting: set the milled ring to 'auto', then select the shutter speed. The light meter pointer must be on the green area in the viewfinder, you can also see the opening on this scale
