Very large oil on canvas titled ‘le ramassage des fagots’, lively landscape with a village in the distance.
Painting size: 92.5 x 65.5 cm (note a small tear to the right of the character, circa 0.3 mm, visible on photo no. 6).
Very nice original wooden frame: 93 x 119 cm (in fair condition, will need restoration).
Provenance : Bought in the early 90s from auction house Maîtres Martinot, Salim, Antoine.
Note that this painting was estimated by an expert of the French classic art at between 10 and € 20,000 (see photo, name of the expert temporarily hidden for this sale).
