Adriaan Christiaan Willem Terhell (Venlo, March 7, 1863 - Beverwijk, 28 April 1949) was a Dutch painter who worked in the Romantic tradition. Terhell was a painter who has left a large oeuvre, consisting of landscapes, sea and river views, village and city views. In addition to oil paintings he produced many watercolours and gouaches under his own name, but also under pseudonyms J. le Blanc, Ch. Petit, P.L. Jacoby and, to a lesser extent, C. de Zeeuw.
Condition: overall in good condition.
Frame: framed in a gold coloured ornamental frame.
