Detailed map of the Kingdom of Hungary, showing the route from Vienna to Istanbul. A road is shown, tracking down the Danube River from Vienna to Budapest and Belgrade, then to Nis (Serbia), Sofia (Bulgaria), Plovdiv (Bulgaria), Silivri (Turkey) and finally to Istanbul.

Pierre Duval was a French geographer, cartographer, and publisher who worked in Abbeville and Paris. In addition to numerous maps and atlases, his work includes geographic lexicons in French.

The map has been used in the past. Two larger moisture stains, the margins have some cracks, these can be seen in the pictures.
