ROMAN HEAD OF A WOMAN
Head of a Roman statuette in terracotta representing a young woman. Her long curly hair is partially hidden by a veil that covers her head
Shown from the front, with her head slightly bent to the side. She has a serious face, staring
The lines are fine, patterned in relief. The details are perfect
Roman Empire, Western Mediterranean, around the 1st/2nd century AD.

Height 6.7 mm - (12 mm with stand) - very good condition - some signs of wear - no restoration

Acquired on 18th October 2019 in Germany, From: MZ. auction house, N° 1833.
Former history: old private German collection built-up in the 1970s.
