Lot of 4 drawings by Elisabeth Chaplin (Fontainebleau 1890 - Fiesole 1982), nephew of Charles Chaplin and daughter of the sculptress and poet Marguerite Bavier-Chaufour and William Chaplin. Elisabeth lived for a long time in Italy since she was a child, in Florence she attended the studies of some great masters like Giovanni Fattori, in 1937 she received the gold medal at the International Exposition in Paris and in 1938 the Legion of Honor.
The museums exhibiting the artist's works include the national gallery of modern art in Rome, and the modern art gallery of the Pitti palace in Florence.
