A framework inlaid with wood briar, with a rural bucolic scene. A high quality item, inspired by 16th century paintings. Signed. I believe it dates back to the early 20th century, if not earlier. The briar is in excellent condition and flawless. For connoisseurs. To be treated periodically with beeswax.
