Very beautiful and atmospheric winter landscape by H. Smit (1898-1979). Smit's work belongs to naïve art. He was a pupil of Johannes Josephus Aarts.
The work is in good condition with some signs of wear, see the photos, these are part of the description. The frame has some damage.
