Based on the cartoons of Osvaldo Cavandoli. He was an Italian cartoonist. As late as 1969 he created the character that would make him world famous: "La Linea". His most famous work is his series of short animated cartoons.
Cavandoli made a comics version of his character for Il Giornalino in 1974. "La Linea" reappeared on Italian television in 1997. Cavandoli made a series of 20 films with his character for Universal Studios in the USA in 2001.
The lamp works on 4 AA batteries. Connection to an adapter is also possible. Nor batteries and adapters are included.
The lamps have an on-/off-switch and look beautiful standing or hanging.
