Pair of Liége Travelling Percussion pistols, circa 1850, in case. Steel barrels (proof mark ELG in circle made in Liége), riffled, eight fold with brown finishing, Highly decorated brass garrisons with vegetalist motifs . Checkered Walnut stocks in very good condition.Cavities in the butt to hold fulminants ( also decorated). Steel rods ( original). locks " back action" decorated and chiseled, working fine in the two positions,Springs very strong, Same oxidation caused by moisture now cleaned but affecting the hammer of one pistol.

In a Mahogany wooden case, brass possession scutcheon , not used; with key ( this is not is original case). Interior lined with velvet "Bordeaux", compartmentalized, containing: Apocryphal Brass powder ( Possibly vintage) , unmarked; vintage steel mold ;apocryphal screwdriver with rosewood handle.
