This rifle was created at the beginning of WW2 and has most likely served at the front against the Nazis, possibly Stalingrad. All matching numbers.
From 1883 onwards, in Russia was searched for a replacement of the single-shot Berdan repeating rifle. In 1890 a choice could be made of a design by Sergei Ivanovich Mosin (a Russian colonel of the Artillery) and a design by the Belgian armaments engineer Léon Nagant. However, it was decided in 1891 for the new rifle to combine the locking system of Mosin and the magazine of Nagant, hence the name: Mosin-Nagant.
The Mosin-Nagant was used in various versions from 1891 until the 1960s, when it was finally replaced by the SVD in its last function as a sniper rifle. During the Battle of Stalingrad, the sniper Vasili Zajtsev used a Mosin-Nagant 91/30

I am so sorry you are dissapointed but the rifle is deactived under the (new) EU laws. If the trigger, bolt and magazine would still be moveable it would be illegal and fall under normal gun laws. There is nothing i can do about this as it is the law.
