An impressionist landscape painted by Evert Moll (1878-1955). Evert Moll (1878-1955) is best known for his harbour views and therefore this is a pretty unique work in his oeuvre.

Evert Moll was born on 15 December 1878 in Voorburg and passed away on 10 May 1955 in The Hague. He lived and worked between 1895 and 1930 in Voorburg, London, Paris, the Hague, and Rotterdam. He then settled in The Hague. There, he received advice from Willem Maris and then developed himself further. He made made works that were commissioned by art dealers from the United States and Canada. He painted landscapes, but, above all, river, sea and harbour views and also created still lifes during his final years. Evert Moll's works are part of the State collection, the Zuiderzeemuseum and the museum Boymans-van Beuningen.
