- Die Atlantikschwimmer (1976) "Herbert Achternbusch"
- O.K. (1970) "Michael Verhoeven"

1978 after the death of the sound engineer Peter van Anft, whom *Heinz Braun knew well from the film-makers with Herbert Achternbusch, a melancholic self-portrait of Heinz Braun emerges. In this painting, Heinz Braun rows lonely across the lake, water and sky merge into an atmospheric background - a metaphor for the uncertainty into which man rows alone.
*Heinz Braun (* January 12, 1938 in Munich; † February 21, 1986) was a German autodidactic painter.
