The Vadasz system Pocket Phonograph Mikiphone is complete and functional. It consists of its Piezzo stylus head (without a needle) and its articulated arm, its plastic resonance box (in two pieces), its disc tray and its stopper.
Made in Switzerland in the 1920s, the Vadasz brothers' Pocket Phonograph Mikiphone is the first fully autonomous handheld player thanks to its spring-loaded mechanics that can be wound with a key, fully integrated into the device.
One of the photos shows the disc tray turning.
According to legend, Le Corbusier stated that he saw the Mikiphone as the essence of the New Spirit.
