Jean Hardy is a contemporary of Louis Icart and his work is auctioned worldwide. At the time, he was already well-known because his etchings were often reproduced and used as postcards, posters or calendars. He is big in his genre, 'the Boudoir art', however, we know nothing about him, except that he is French, worked in Paris and probably worked under a pseudonym.
Bottom right printed copyright.
35 cm x 24 cm visible part of the etching.
With frame 52 x 42 cm.
