Ancient well bucket - Iron (wrought) - First half 18th century
A beautiful and rare wrought iron well bucket; it has not been restored to not ruin its originality, in fact there are some holes, due to the use in ancient domestic wells, near the base. It dates back to the early 1700s.
A very interesting piece, complete with its hooking chain. It weighs 2.5 kg and its height (to the handle) measures 30 cm; overall height (including chain): 55 cm; inner diameter 21 cm; opening diameter 16 cm.-
