A work by Adolfo Magrini, an important Italian engraver and billboard artist, born in Ferrara in 1874 and died in Milan in 1957. He studied in Ferrara with Angelo Longanesi, with Luigi Legnani and with Giuseppe Ravegnani and then attended the Institute of Fine Arts in Naples when Domenico Morelli taught there. He dedicated himself to portraiture, decoration, engraving, monotypes, the illustration of books, etc. etc. He exhibited in many Italian locations and was awarded various prizes and had a solo exhibition in Ferrara in 1928.
The chromolithographs, on coated paper, are of excellent quality and preserved in good condition. Vivid colours.
