Helen Frik (1960, United Kingdom) is an artist and director of the Frik Collection Ceramic Museum (FCCM). Frik's work celebrates the beauty of natural materials, but also refers to the need of all of us for a place to hide from harsh reality. Humor and seriousness alternate in her work, in which she tries to unravel the mysteries of life with her observations.
