Spain - House of Habsburg Felipe III (1598-1621), 8 Maravedíes bronze coin, Segovia 1607.

Obverse: A ‘PHILIPPVS III D G’ legend encircling a crowned shield depicting a castle between the mint mark and a legend reading ‘VIII’ (face value).
Reverse: A ‘HISPANIARVM REX’ legend encircling a crowned shield depicting a lion facing left and the date.

6.35 g. 28 mm.

A very beautiful brown chocolate like patina that is typical in such old coins. In very fine condition overall. Both the date and mint mark are perfectly visible.
