Pieter van der Borcht (1530-1608) was a Flemish Renaissance painter, engraver and etcher. He was a friend of Pieter Bruegel the elder and worked with the same publisher Hiëronymus Cock in Antwerp.

Some of his engravings were inspired by Pieter Bruegel.
Here is a clear influence of the early Iialian Renaissance in architecture.

In very good condition.

Printed on thin 16th century verger paper with 1 cm margins. Mounted on an 18th century verger paper.

Nice, sharp print with lots of details.

Comes in a museum mat.
