Moj means wave in Farsi - the language of the Persians.
Qashqai nomadic women made these wonderful kilims as a prestige item and often as a bridal kilim. Complicated weaving technique.
These kilims were made in two or three narrow strips on a narrow mobile loom and later sewn together.
Wonderful natural plant-based dyes.
