Goat fur used at the top and back side of the kelim is thick goat yarn. Kelim is completely hand-woven. Kelims are woven by hand in the wooden kelim table. The back side of the rug knot by hand with goat yarn. After comleted, goat feathers are sewn to the kelim one by one. This kelim is completely natural. The colors of the kelim are not paint, they are goat's own fur color. The kelim was woven without any chemical treatment.Hand-woven goat hair kelims are also used as blankets in the village of Siirt. This completely organic kelim is made from goat hair.
