In a world where time and tranquility is a rarity, I let my photographic images merge unrest and dynamics to a unit, reducing them to a pace that humans can grasp.
I do this by using long exposure times. Movement quiets and is captured as a moment in time. Another world and another image that only exists in a world where time can be manipulated. The emptiness, silence and timeless harmony on the coast, captured in an image.
In that void I captured man-made elements or objects. The elements or objects in that void did not arise from an architectural vision. The design comes from the function it has to perform and thus acquires a uniqueness and beauty that is not bored but rather fascinating.
Hushed images created by Michael Kenna and Josef Hoflehner, inspire to push boundaries.
