The Macintosh Portable is a 31 year old computer from world's biggest computer manufacturer.
It was the first battery-powered Macintosh. It features a 16 MHz 68000 CPU, 1MB memory and an active black/white screen.
This Macintosh Portable comes directly from the stock of the HomeComputerMuseum, an interactive computermuseum in the Netherlands. We don't receive subsidy nor have sponsors so our existance is partly based on selling overstock. We guarantee computers to be as we describe them. You are welcome to visit the museum and see the item in person.
This Macintosh Portable does not come with an external power supply nor does it power on.One of the major flaws of this device is that its psu lacks the power to get it started up, it needs it's battery for additional power. In this particular device, the battery is dead so it cannot power on.
Sold as non-working. Everything pictured is what you'll receive.
Pickup at the museum is highly preferred.
